This versatile, flavor-forward flatbread hails from Morocco,
where it’s been celebrated as an everyday staple for centuries
— and after one soft, flaky bite, you’ll see why it’s been our bestseller since 2010.
Made from a simple combination of flour, water, oil, and salt with a generous dose of butter,
the dough is hand-stretched and twice-folded into a 7×7” square, with semolina sprinkled between the layers.
Then, it’s cooked on a hot griddle until golden.
With its supple but sturdy texture, m’smen can be served flat or stuffed in sweet or savory variations:
drizzled with honey for breakfast as is the Moroccan tradition,
dunked in soup or rolled into a wrap for lunch, or topped like a pizza for dinner.
넓게 펴고
겹쳐서 접는다
M’smen are most delicious when eaten warm,
but once cooled they can be stored up to 5 days in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
They freeze well up to 3 months. Reheat m’smen in a hot, dry skillet 1 minute on each side before serving.
Oregano honey from Morocco is the best from all oregano honeys and one of the most appreciated honey in the world.
We all know oregano. It goes on our pizza and gives it a special flavor.
Very popular in Mediterranean cuisine, oregano is really more than that.
Recent studies have proven that oregano has therapeutic value
and the oil extracted from it can be beneficial in treating many conditions.
From the abundant flowers of oregano,
the nectar is gathered by the bees in turned into another healthy and tasteful honey: oregano honey.
And though this can happen wherever there is a crop of oregano,
geographical conditions have a very important role in its composition, thus changing the quality of honey
Amlou(아믈루, 아르간 오일) is a thick brown paste with a texture similar to peanut butter obtained
by grinding roasted almonds mixed with honey and argan oil.
Amlou is known as a speciality from the South of Morocco
and is usually used as a healthy dip or spread since its key ingredient is argan oil.
Amlou is usually served for breakfast or afternoon tea with pancakes and pastries.
Serve it as a spread or a dip on top of anything that makes you happy:
