ITINERARY:

Day 1: Arrival to Tashkent, August 07, 2012
Arrival to Tashkent. Transfer to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel in
Tashkent.

Day 2: Tashkent - Urgench - Khiva, August 08, 2012
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport. Morning flight to
Urgench. Arrive in Urgench, transfer to Khiva, settlement at the
hotel. Sightseeing of Khiva: Ichan-Kala architectural complex (12-19th
c.) - a UNESCO World Heritage Site - the residence of the last Khan
including Ismail Khodja mausoleum, Mohammed Amin Khan madrassah,
Kunya-Ark Castle (16-17th c.), Kalta Minor tower, Tash-Hovli Palace
(19th c.), Pahlavan Mahmud mausoleum(14-18th c.), Juma Mosque (10th
c.). Overnight at the hotel in Khiva.

Day 3: Khiva - Bukhara, August 09, 2012
Breakfast at the hotel. Depart Khiva and drive to Bukhara (10-11
hours). Arrival to Bukhara. Check in to the hotel. Overnight at the
hotel in Bukhara.

Day 4: Bukhara, August 10, 2012
Breakfast at the hotel. Sightseeing Bukhara: Ismail Samonid mausoleum
(a burial place of the Samani dynasty founder Ismail Samani, 10th
century), Kalon Minaret and Poi Kalon Mosque, Miri Arab Madrassa (16th
century), Ulugbek Madrassa (15th century) and Abdilazizkhan Madrassa
(17th century), Magoki Attory Mosque (is a very interesting
construction, with facade 12th century and reconstructed in 16th
century, with Zoroastrian temple ornaments underneath), Lyabi House
complex, Ark Fortress (a home to the rulers of Bukhara), Museums
inside Ark Fortress, Chor Minor. Overnight at the hotel in Bukhara.

Day 5: Bukhara, August 11, 2012
Breakfast at the hotel. Continue sightseeing outside of Bukhara:
Nakshbandi Mausoleum, Chor Bakr, Sitori-Mohi Khosa palace. Free time.
Overnight at the hotel in Bukhara.

Day 6: Bukhara - Shakhrisabz - Samarkand, August 12, 2012
Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Samarkand via Shakhrisabz. Visit
remains of Ak-Saray Palace (Tamerlane's summer Palace), Kok-Gumbaz
Mosque (15th century), Khazrati Imom Ensamble (14th century). Continue
to Samarkand. Settlement at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel in
Samarkand.

Day 7: Samarkand, August 13, 2012
Breakfast at the hotel. Sightseeing Samarkand, which will include:
famous Registan Square (with Madrassa Sherdor 17th century, Tilla Kori
and Ulugbek 15th century), Shokhi Zinda Nekropole (important
pilgrimage place in Samarkand), remains of grandiose Bibi Khanum
Mosque, Gur Emir-Mausoleum (where conqueror Amir Temur (Tamerlane),
his two sons and two grandsons are buried, 15th century), Ulugbek
Observatory. Overnight at the hotel in Samarkand.

Day 8: Samarkand - Tashkent, August 14, 2012
Breakfast at the hotel. Free time. Drive to Tashkent (4 hours).
Arrival to Tashkent. Overnight at the hotel in Tashkent.

Day 9: Tashkent - Fergana, August 15, 2012
Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Fergana via Kokand: visiting the
Palace of the ruler of Kokand, 19th century, Narbutebay Madrassa and
Juma Mosque. Continue to Fergana via Rishtan: visit ceramic workshop.
Arrive in Fergana, settlement at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel in
Fergana.

Day 10: Fergana - Tashkent, August 16, 2012
Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Margilan to visit silk factory.
After lunch drive back to Tashkent. Arrive in Tashkent, settlement at
the hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Tashkent.

Day 11: Tashkent - departure, August 17, 2012
Breakfast at the hotel. Free time. Sightseeing Tashkent, including
visits to Chorsu Bazar in the old city part of Tashkent, Kukuldash
Mosque and Khast Imom - official religious center for Muslims in
Central Asia, consists of Barak Khan Madrassa (16 cent), Tilla Shaykh
Mosque - the Osman Koran, believed to be world's oldest Koran is kept
in the library of this Mosque, a mausoleum of Abu Bakr Kaffal Shoshi -
an Islamic scholar of 13-14th century. Transfer to the airport.
Departure.
